Pretty sure WhiteGuy was unsuccessful (because I remember having the same thought that you did). Although I won't speak for him.JamMasterJ wrote:did you do that one thing successfully? The letter and postmark were dated 1/24.
I was able to Voldemort successfully.

I know we're not talking about that thing anymore, under any circumstances, but I just wanted to copy-paste what I found on a certain website (where I am allowed to go).
"The Admitted Student Website contains proprietary information. Login information should not be shared under any circumstances."
I guess they listened and included a disclaimer?

When you get it, you'll know. They don't call em VCEs for nothin.thelong wrote:Today was day two of getting VCE-sized envelopes in my mail that were not VCEs. This one was from NYU, though, so that's okay

For a second I thought they might have read was I was trying to argue. I think I am rather too optimistic....hypothalamus wrote:I know we're not talking about that thing anymore, under any circumstances, but I just wanted to copy-paste what I found on a certain website (where I am allowed to go).

I actually thought of that when I saw the message on the site lol. This should be an auto-admit for you, IMHO.tempur_three wrote:LOL!tempur_three wrote: I reason that it's none of the above unless Columbia explicitly states to applicants, "this is proprietary information that must be kept solely to you and you may not share this website, password, or any other information we provide in this document with anyone else."

Does anyone know what Columbia's policy is for ASW reimbursement? I'd like to go, but I'm poor right now.
I'm guessing it says something about that on the admitted students' website, but even admitted students are unable to get in to that now.

Thanks! I would be honored if they actually took my words into account. It's still an awesome coincidence of word choice.

Got some VCE love today, in the Southeast, and the Voldemort thing did not work. Definitely don't lose hope if it didn't work for you.

Yeah I got a fall grades request, submitted at the beginning of November. Columbia's status checker doesn't work on the status checker app so I didn't really bother checking when I went complete.snehpets wrote:cool. out of curiosity, did you have a fall grades request? Forgot to mention on the previous page that I was an admit without a fall grade request. No idea what the proportion of fall grade requests to non-fall grade requests are though.FryBreadPower wrote:Soooo...most admits had fall grade requests?

I have not been able to follow this thread last a couple of days due to Chinese New Year. Congrats to all admits!
So I guess no email yet for international students? I remember reading a post which says not until two weeks after all VCEs will international students know their decisions.
