Received $20k per year scholarship by mail earlier this week. 161/3.72 - degree in econ.

UR 1/10-->1/26-->held today

Not sure whether I'm supposed to send only one of the LOR/resume/essay trio, or if I can e-mail bomb them with all three...I'm so desperate for Penn love...

Does Penn only make acceptance calls on Fridays or is that just the day they tend to make the majority of them? I'm sure this has been answered, but I only started following the thread earlier this week.

Did anybody with a 2nd UCR date of 1/3 hear back yet? I know there were more people than just me out there. (Don't remember whom though).

I guess my question is somewhat in line with that of above.

Can someone help me gauge whether being 1/10 UR1 --> 1/20 UR2 and not receiving a decision mean a good thing or bad thing?

Under review since 12/14. Finally called today. Don't go by your UCR. If you haven't gotten dinged, you are still in it.

I think they've made all of them on Fridays so far (except for ED, got mine on a Wednesday!). So at least you can relax 6/7 days of the week

Me too! And I'm not ultra-confident either...my cycle has thus far indicated I'm headed towards waitlist-limbo. If PENN were to be the one that broke that cycle I would freak out....as this post probably implies
