Doubt they forgot about you but I'm going to go long and guess that something about your app was "iffy." Is one of your numbers below median? Are you a non-trad? Something else that would pop out?leefair123 wrote:well... 2/4 called today they lady was like ohhhh ill have the dean call you, then got an email from dean and complete 4/4... submitted aug-sept soooo..... not good i think they forgot about me at least thats what it sounded like.
I know that my (REALLY non traditional) application had them flummoxed - after being admitted, I heard that it went to committee and then back to Dean Brown's window sill repeatedly! - but take heart in that they are still trying to find a place for you. If they didn't WANT you, they would have rejected you long ago.

Re: Fordham 2011
I was afraid of something like this happening to me, especially because the undergrad program I graduated from is so hard to explain to people (on top of having transferred out of a college that didn't give grades, etc.), etc. I think the saving grace for me was someone else that was in my program got into and went to Fordham (can we lovingly call it FU?) last year. I think it may have been possible that he went through explaining the program already and it was still somewhat in their mind. I would have loved to have seen all of the adcomms make sense out of my application materials.nygrrrl wrote:Doubt they forgot about you but I'm going to go long and guess that something about your app was "iffy." Anyyway, not sure if I met anyone from TLS or not. Wasn't quite sure how to bring that up in conversation.

Dude, TLS is a good way to bond IRL.
It IS weird when people ask "oh hey you know each other?" and the answer is basically "it's complicated."
This happened to me and Gotti this weekend at the ASD.

Sorry for being a Debbie Downer. Didn't mean that to be a discouragement. Hopefully I'm just an anomaly.blacklawboss wrote:LS-boundNYC wrote:Not always...It took over three weeks for me.blacklawboss wrote:yeah seems like it. Just got the "in" email. Is there a standard UN/PW for the admitted student website, or do I have to wait until they email me with the info?
