Oh and Thirteen, the jorts were a classy touch.

I liked what I saw today and am about 95% sure I'll be attending in the Fall. All the current students that I had a chance to speak with left a great impression. Oh, and Crespi's class wasn't terrible.

Go fuck yourself. That's all I own. Why? Because otherwise you end up in shorts like Thirteen did.
Plus, they are comfortable and cheap.

I think I have like one pair left... but they've been collecting dust for awhile.

No, it's not me. I have yet to find other types of shorts that are comfortable to me. I like baggy shorts, and anything other than cargo shorts tends to be more constricting. I would be fine without the pockets if the shorts were still made the same way. Thus, I buy cargo shorts for like $15 apiece. Find me something as comfortable and as cheap and I will be happy to wear them.
TL;DR - I don't care if it's fashionable, it's comfortable, so suck it.

Fashion trends are cyclical. Take the boat shoes everyone is wearing now. We were all wearing those and Cole Haan loafers in middle school. All that shit went way out of style not long after. When I was in high school, you would have gotten laughed out of the building if you showed up wearing Sperrys. I figured that company went out of business. But here we are now, and everyone is wearing boat shoes again.
In the early 90s, everyone wanted the super-preppy look with the actual Ralph Lauren Polos. By the late 90s-early 2000s, nobody was wearing them - the prices even dropped. Now they're back with a vengeance. It all comes back around.

Found this article from the National Law Journal. I don't now if it has already been posted and don't feel like paing back to see if it has. Makes me feel really good to know that SMU ranks so high in the only metric that really matters for me.

She sits next to me. She's very nice, if a little right-wing. She gets picked on in Civ Pro a lot.

Fair, but her leanings are more apparent because she isn't bashful about interjecting them into any number of classes.mbusch22 wrote:lol u know you're at SMU right? Similar article from last year is what pushed SMU over the top for me.scutarius wrote:Found this article from the National Law Journal. Considering the factors that determine where a school falls on each list, it makes a lot of sense to go to a school that is ranked considerably higher on the "Go-to" list than it is on the US News list.scutarius wrote:Found this article from the National Law Journal. Not to rain on the parade, but if you weren't in the top 16% of the c/o 2010, does that data really do you any good?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
