is carpet the norm and hardwood the exception?
It is in the South, especially in apartment buildings.

Interesting...Wake's bar passage rate in NC and employment 9 months after graduation are higher than UNC's.
Bar Passage
Wake --> 96.3%
UNC --> 89.8%
Employment 9 months after graduation
Wake --> 95.8%
UNC --> 94.7%

Wake's assessment score by lawyers and judges is pretty solid, too (relative to its overall rank). 3.6, which is on par with UIUC, BU, and BC. It is better than higher ranked schools such as USC, IUB, Davis, UGA, Fordham (what the hell happened to them?!), OSU, Washington, CU, Alabama, and ASU.tstyler98 wrote:Interesting...Wake's bar passage rate in NC and employment 9 months after graduation are higher than UNC's.

Interestingly, UNC's assessment score by lawyers is REALLY solid - 3.9.

Re: Wake Forest 2010
As much as I hate to admit it Alabama's drop kinda skews me toward Wake even more since their upward mobility was a big selling point to me. Also this helps put Wake more solidly in T1, rather than in danger of falling to T2. If Wake would just respond to my calls and emails and give me a little more money I'd drop Bama/UNC now.

Sent in my deposit yesterday. I plan on practicing in NC and paying less than 10k/year in tuition won me over.

employments stats for US News are a joke: any job (fast food, retail, etc.) upon graduation.

And i heard that wake already fudges the data with "research assistant" jobs.exitlane wrote:employments stats for US News are a joke: any job (fast food, retail, etc.) upon graduation.
So, more concern.
I mean if thats the best data fudging can get them...
Perhaps they are just bad at fudging data?

Gratz. Good feeling making a decision, no?
im still concerned with Wake's employment at graduation.
The article on ATL about wake fudging their employment at graduation #s hardcore to stop them from falling hard in the rankings seems to be more credible now.

I'm sure there will be some differences, but I don't think the age-differences will be that much of an issue.
You do not look 29 / 30.
True story.

I think it just further proves what I've been gathering by asking around here. Wake is a very solid, extremely well-respected school that simply doesn't care to put a ton of effort in to gaming the rankings.

You are destroying this article because it is supported by 'anonymous claims reported over the internet'. Yet, you backed your initial claim by the statement that you gathered your information by asking around 'here', a message board full of anonymous claims. This seems ignorant.

Even if that is false... I'm sure wake works just as hard to fudge the rankings as everyone else.
Why wouldn't they fudge the stats?
So they could have "integrity" along with
a worse ranking
a worse student body (attracted by a worse ranking)
Less money (attracted by worse student body) ???
I'm sorry, every school out there is trying to game the rankings.
And the fact that wake did and still ends up with the second worst employment at graduation for all T1s speaks poorly of wake. That being said, unc is like only .1 better, while duke is 100%
Darn dukies! Stealing all the jobs.
I'm not saying turn and run... within 9months wake is about 94%, which is fine, and last year wake>unc for employed at graduation.
I;m just saying, lets be real: wake is sucking at this category.
