Tell me about it. I feel like John Travolta.

Cornell actually isn't going to explicitly accept anyone this year. They're just rejecting a ton of applicants and then whoever is left and shows up on the first day of classes is admitted.
So, basically, Cornell is playing "Survivor"?

I'm still just EA Complete 11/5. Sub-3.0 splitter.

Assuming I'll be in the next batch to receive my WL/reserve.

Ugh, admissions closes at 4:30. That sucks. I don't know why I'm so eager to call, I pretty much know what it is going to say judging from everyone else..

There is one person on LSN that says they were accepted to Cornell. Is that a joke?

Yeah, he's a long running troll and the mortal enemy of Veritas. Idk what exactly caused all the drama, but don't pay any attention to his report.

Yes, the checker updated today with a decision made as of 12/4. Two have been rejections so far.

They've made decisions, apparently. Just not ones we like.

It seems like this was a third wave of rejections, from what I can tell. And it might be the only one that hasn't let anyone in... I can't think of a counterpoint.

It would suck to have DR on your status checker 12/23 afternoon and have to actually wait for the decision in the mail. I hope I hear something sooner.

Northwestern has not made any decisions known, though judging from history they probably will in a week or two.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
