Wow, robin, your story is so inspiring! If Georgetown rejects you I am going to lose every single ounce of respect I have for that institution.
That goes for you other cool people too- I am so humbled to be in the same batch with all you URMs, non-trads, and generally amazing people!!!

Any EDs out there who didnt go DR 12/1 and applied more than 2 weeks ago..meaning that you went UR at some point (and still are) and not just at "complete"?

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
At risk of being too serious about this question... there is a trend of frustrated Asian men who fail to achieve the professional and social goals they hope to obtain who still expect their equally bread-earning wives to do all the household chores, singlehandedly raise their children, and bow down to the man. Affluence also leads to less children and less children leads to higher value placed on daughters. *shrug*autumn80 wrote: Right. We are at the my sassy girl generation. I'm ED FT - went UR on 11/11 and no updates since. Does anyone know if ED applicants in past years received acceptances on 12/15?dudester wrote:My UR hasn't been updated at alljdhopeful23 wrote:moi. i think i have had a UR update at least 4 times as well.Any EDs out there who didnt go DR 12/1 and applied more than 2 weeks ago..meaning that you went UR at some point (and still are) and not just at "complete"?

Yeah me neither! I mean I know I'm no auto-admit but I'd like to think my softs won't get me flat-out rejected, especially after such a short turnaround. Don't know, just waiting for that letter.shadowfrost000 wrote:Woot. I am pretty sure their first batch of URM will not be rejections- they gotta be acceptances at least for the most part
Question: Does Gtown send packages or letters for acceptances? I heard their acceptances are small
Veritas: I recall checking their status yesterday and it was DR 12/1 and Pending, and now it says accepted and updated- could be 12/1 DR still?

I hear rejections and waitlists are e-mails so no e-mail is good at this point, but who knows e-mails can be delayed

Good rule of thumb: Our Asian colleagues probably had good numbers considering the ORM status. And, we'll probably want one or two of them in our study groups.....

This thread is an emotional rollercoaster....Good luck to everyone, I am going to quit checking today because I have finals coming up and I am not getting ANYTHING done. I have, however, gone through a good amount of coffee and have had my spirits raised and crushed in the span of about 10 minutes. Again, Good luck to everyone, and congratulations to those who are already in!!SanBun wrote:+1Veritas wrote:12/1 DR no email.....yet...shadowfrost000 wrote:Hm, did you get a 12/1 DR?Veritas wrote: No, that person received the letter on 12/1, they must have been a 11/30 DR
