And, if anyone knows, is there typically more than one wave of Vandys or are they one and done?

I didn't apply to any scholarships at NYU or fill out NeedAccess

I've been UR1 since 11/20, expecting a WL or rejection at this point...but I don't think there is a "typical" amount of time -- too many variables, especially this far into the cycle.

It's possible that you're a maybe too, if you didn't get dinged yet, there is still hope from what I understand. Although from 11/20 till now with just radio silence is pretty daunting, but like you said, too many variables so who knows?

You're probably right. Unless they are that backed up, I can't see them dinging you so many months later. (although what do I know) It sounds like in your case it's either WL or maybe they are seeing what else is left,and perhaps you'll still get in. I would still have faith if I were in your shoes because your still in the running as far as we know thus far.

If you have other schools that require it you may as well. Get it done early so you don't have to wait on it later.

I'd personally send them the update (maybe an updated resume) since it gives you an option to keep in touch early on before being waitlisted.
