Hello all, I am new to this thread and have scoured all of the past few pages. I applied in January but retook LSAT in Feb and got a 170. Since then I had updates on 3/10, 4/1 (same day as purple and Blades it seems like), and then, oddly enough, another date change on 4/2. However No DLS :(. Am I doomed? What do all these date changes mean?

50th- LSAT and >75 GPA from Ivy.

Plus some C&F issues from 5+ years ago (non academic)

NYU is my #1 choice btw.

I'm at 5 1/2. I'd jump off a building at this point just to find out something, even if it was really, really tall.

Still 12/2. Applied ED in October. Have already submitted both deposits to another school. Not to be a brat but this is pretty ridiculous, and has somewhat turned me off to the school.

you applied ED? that's a bit ridiculous. Sorry about that! Where did you submit?

Thanks for the sympathy

Decided on Cornell with a scholarship because it's still in NY and will provide a path into NYC :)

That's nuts. NYU thinks playing hard to get is attractive, it's not.

Just went DLS...is there any way of predicting where this indicates acceptance/WL/ding? Can't log into admitted student page and haven't received any sort of email notification. Ugh, this is nerve-racking

I haven't had an update since 12/27. I retook the LSAT in Feb. and have confirmed they received my score, but is it weird I haven't had an update since then?

Updates probably only come when someone reviews your file, not just adding info.

Thanks, makes sense. Incredibly frustrating...

I think some people have said it took them a day or two to log on/get a phone call, just try to relax and you'll hear the news soon! Good luck

It's kind of turning me off too. I mean come on, do they have one person over there reading everyone's applications?

Thanks, sound advice. It's nearly 1 AM where I am, so the timing of DLS couldn't be worse! Right when I was getting ready for bed...For what it's worth, the admitted student site appears to be down. Hoping that's a good sign.

At this point it's almost comical. Scholarship deadlines are starting in 10 days! Wtf NYU?!

I thought I was in limbo but my 3 months (about 3 exactly) waiting with no movement on dates is nothing compared to the 6, 5monthers on here.

Is this happening anywhere else in the t-14?

I applied to 7 T14 schools, the other 6 of which I applied to a month and a half after applying to NYU, and all have gotten back to me. Last one was a month ago.

Not only that, but NYU emailed me after applying requesting a transcript on LSAC for my year abroad even though it was a study abroad program and not needed according to the LSAC guidelines. I'm pretty convinced they've got new staff or something.

Seems like WL's went out next week last year guys. Then a wave of acceptances from the WL 1 week into May. In other words, expect a long wait

If I don't hear back in the FIRST waitlist wave I am going to be upset.
