I have no idea. Probably but you may have to call LSAC on that one.sfoglia wrote:
Another question: Does anyone know if the order that we put our evaluators in, is the order that the schools receive them (L1, L2, L3)?

Way to go. So happy to hear for you. I know how frustrating it can be waiting on something not even in your control. Best of luck!Dream_weaver32 wrote:Yes, between this weekend seeing my best friends after a year, and waking up to LORs submitted. I'm one happy camper.Dirigo wrote:That's awesome!! Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
You pick the order when you assign the letters to the school, so they don't even have to be in the same order every time. Mine are labeled oddly because of school-specific recs, but I just list the proper order every time I submit. Law schools will still see the label (so a letter is permanently L1 or L3 or whatever) but you can list it as your first, second, or third letter regardless. I assume that's the order school's receive them/see them in your file.sfoglia wrote:Another question: Does anyone know if the order that we put our evaluators in, is the order that the schools receive them (L1, L2, L3)? Obviously I'd prefer to have my two professor recs on top of my professional, but I'm still waiting on confirmation from my undergraduate professor (yeah, I know, I think it's time I ask someone else, too).

Kind of a hard position to juggle, especially when you're still in their classes. Lol. I had one completed and submitted within a week (former dept chair-back to teaching), and my other history professor said she has it completed today but cannot find the email and LSAC's website is down.

Can someone please help me with a transcript question?! I need to know if LSAC updates the transcript received portion of CAS or if it goes straight to processing. I haven't heard anything, and I'm beginning to get concerned that my transcript hasn't been received.

Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
I have a question for you guys, if this is the right place to ask. Is it a bad idea to apply right now with a 3.7/166, hope to get waitlisted at lower T-14s, and retake in February? Or should I just retake in December and send out my apps by early January? It's important to note that I might be a choke artist when it comes to the LSAT. I have two scores of 166 after PTing at ~171 the first time and ~174 the second time. Not sure if it's worth risking sending in my apps late with a marginally better (if at all) score.

Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
When did you send your transcript and how long does your school/clearinghouse say it usually takes? I had two transcripts sent and it showed me that they had been received. It was faster than I thought it would be when I submitted them in August (took under 2 weeks for each), but it may be that they are bogged down right now since a lot of people are submitting.carolinanne1 wrote:Can someone please help me with a transcript question?! I don't feel at all qualified to answer that but I think I saw some other people asking similar questions on the Admissions forum so you might head over there if no one else ITT can help.YeezusPiece wrote:I have a question for you guys, if this is the right place to ask. Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
If you'd have only one score on file, I'd say retest away and try to do better. However, you've presumably been studying and did your best on those two tests, what can you do to improve more than you've already done? Therefore, put yourself in the admissions officers shoes. If an applicant had a 166, 166 and 170, the 170 is the number that gets reported for rankings. If all the applicant has is two 166's, even though there is another testing opportunity coming up, does that applicant make it before the one with three tests? IMO, retake in december. Although it's better to be on the waitlist than rejected, it's even better to have a shot at acceptance. All the admissions people I've talked to said that although it's better to apply early, everything else in the app has more weight on your chance to get in. Therefore, you want the most compelling package for them to look at when they're making their first decision on you.YeezusPiece wrote:I have a question for you guys, if this is the right place to ask.
