Now since they e-mailed out money I hope they start back to looking at apps. Went complete 1/9 and nothing so far

For those who received scholarships, did you receive them via snail mail or email?

This wait is going to kill me. Currently abroad so snail mail takes forever. Hopefully get an offer like the great ones so far!

For those who got scholarship info already, how long did you wait after your acceptance to hear about scholarships?

Received my scholarship letter today and am now wondering about strategy for the appeal form - I already have one much better offer from a higher-ranked school, but I can't decide if I should submit that now, or wait to see what else might roll in. Anyone else thinking about this?

Scholarship offers so far seem very generous. I'm still waiting on mine, congrats to all those who received great offers.

Also received the scholarship offer today in the mail. Very happy. I have some difficult decisions to make in the coming months.

Just received scholarship letter. Disappointed. Only 20k a year. Not gonna work initially. Someone posted they don't negotiate often? I mean someone with basically identical stats here got 40k a year. So I would need to negotiate. Will they only look at peer schools? Or will they look at schools in the 30 range as well as I already have full tuition offers? Thanks.

Got my scholarship info via snail mail today. Very excited. Easily 15k to 30k more than I expected based on last year's LSN data.

Check out the scholarship appeal form on the admitted school webpage. You get to submit offers (requiring proof) from three other law schools.bob311 wrote:Just received scholarship letter. Hope that helps!

+1 as well
It also says first seat deposit and second seat deposit in the fees section. I just can't tell whether or not that option was there the whole time. After all, the amount due still says "0.00".
I thought that admissions offices would be off from work today, but it would be great news to hear back today!

I was waitlisted when my deposit numbers didn't change from 0's. Every other applicant's numbers have changed to 400 600 or something when they were in

hmm okay thanks for the info-- hopefully they're still reviewing my application. After all, the status doesn't say 'under review' or 'decision made' . Crossing my fingers...

Finally status change from 1/9 complete to 2/16 complete, and I've have "0.00" for the seat deposits since I was sent the status checker. Unless it says decision made it doesnt mean anythingheyarnold wrote:+1 as well

Re: Notre Dame Law School c/o 2018 (2014-2015 applicants)
The school lists "personal expenses" estimated at $5,950 and transportation costs at $2,600. Any idea where they're getting this? Seems... gratuitous. Does anything know ND's health insurance situation? Is that figured into the "personal expense" estimate?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
