LSN shows a large gap where my numbers are. It's so weird.

Noo. In the last waves, they have released decisions as late as 4:45 EST to TLSers.Strange wrote:Time to panic?

Re: Cornell c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
Did anyone else get the 12/15 → 12/16 status checker update? Being updated on the same day as a wave of admits while not getting an acceptance is making me extremely paranoid. My dates before were 11/3 → 12/6 before so including yesterday and today that's a grand total of 4 updates so far and still no good news
I'm definitely panicking a little now.
FWIW applied on 10/29 and trad splitter LSAT>75th, GPA<25th

I have 11/3, 12/6, 12/15 but no 12/16 update. No idea what any of it means, but don't panic just yet. I have a 3.5/170, are your stats better/comparable?Ti1Her0 wrote:Did anyone else get the 12/15 → 12/16 status checker update? I wouldn't worry too much. You're not alone (i'm 11/3 - 12/6 - 12/15 - 12/16). I'm clueless as to what it means
BUT CONGRATS TO EVERYONE!!! it's good to see you finally get the acceptance Luxxe!

My complete dates are 10/21, 12/1, 12/15, and finally 12/16. I'm getting nervous too... but I think it's too early to lose hope. Plus, many of those already admitted had back-to-back status updates like us! Best of luck to all of us!!

170/3.3, decent to good softs. Honestly, I know I shouldn't expect any more than a WL with those #s but for some reason I've been becoming increasingly optimistic these past few weeks. Looks like it might backfire soon T_T. Anyway I don't mean to be a downer or anything, grats to everyone who got accepted so far and GL to the rest of us!!Killingly wrote:I have 11/3, 12/6, 12/15 but no 12/16 update. While I'm definitely nervously waiting to hear from them, I think it's kinda funny to try predicting what's gonna happen based on the status checker. A bunch of guys are sitting around making decisions, and there are so many variables that could go into the status checker update that I think it's silly to get overly stressed about it. The only time you'll really have any idea what's about to happen is when you get an e-mail from them.

I don't think I'm holding out too much hope anymore since there have been no rejects or WL or deferments that I can see off of LSN, and the EA notification deadline approaches when considering the holidays. I'm in the group with updates 11/3, 12/6, 12/15 as well. Would love to be proven wrong, and am very certain that there will of course be more acceptances that go out. I just don't expect one. What shred of hope I have left is that those of us applying on strong unique softs seem to usually get notified later, which would make sense if our apps get pushed to the rear based on numbers alone.
Anyway, good luck everyone

Wouldn't call it giving up. More along the lines of tempering expectations. Been working on that for a while, including signing up for the GMATStrange wrote:Damn, giving up already?EMZE wrote:I don't think I'm holding out too much hope anymore since there have been no rejects or WL or deferments that I can see off of LSN, and the EA notification deadline approaches when considering the holidays. good luck everyone. most of you have really great numbers.
today i got my pseudo-admit package in the mail. except it only contained my official admit letter and a copy of the cornell alumni magazine. i'm hoping more is on the way.
also, i wouldn't worry about the status checkers, seriously. mine reset to a previous date, then i got admitted like 3 days later. who knows that that thing really means.

Gross.
Won't be nearly as fun as LSAT prep.
Are you considering dual-degrees?
