You guys aren't alone. There are a bunch of people in this thread with the numbers who haven't heard. I'm well above both medians and wrote a Why Mich? but haven't heard anything since getting my status checker in early Nov.addy11 wrote:Same. Well above 75th for LSAT, too.ralph_pootawn wrote:went complete on the 3rd. still nothing except an email from them on the 17th. losing hope. at or above both medians
LSN does not provide much clarity. I was discouraged to see so many people last year who applied to Mich with 172+ and 3.6+ get waitlisted or rejected. Still, I was also encouraged by the number of people with those numbers who applied in late Sept/early October who didn't hear back until Christmastime, while people with more marginal numbers were accepted in waves in late November and early December.

My status checker changed from complete to decision made today, but I can't log into admitted students. I'm at the LSAT median and over the GPA 75th, but is this bad news?

Same, reverse splitter here though. Disheartening to see some people already in with numbers the same as mine who went complete after I did. Oh well, Here's hoping they're just waiting for today :pralph_pootawn wrote:went complete on the 3rd. still nothing except an email from them on the 17th. losing hope. at or above both medians

None of us can tell you for sure. Contradictory evidence:bigeast03 wrote:My status checker changed from complete to decision made today, but I can't log into admitted students. I'm at the LSAT median and over the GPA 75th, but is this bad news?
Good news - Based on the graph in the first post typically waitlists and rejections don't go out until January.
- Other posters have had difficulty logging in and were able to get in when they switched browsers.
Bad news - You have a decision and if you were admitted, you should be able to log into the admitted students website.

+1 to all of this. It's really weird that you have a decision and can't log on.thelaststraw05 wrote:None of us can tell you for sure. That's what's making me nervous. Ah well, I guess I'll prepare for a rejection but hope for otherwise.

Maybe they're doing a bulk status checker change today, since mine changed today too but I was able to access ASW yesterday. Maybe they will update ASW later?bigeast03 wrote:My status checker changed from complete to decision made today, but I can't log into admitted students. Edit- Do you see red text or it just doesn't work? If it doesn't work you have to click on "Current Students" after you hit submit once... it's being finicky.

What happens when you try to log in - do you get the usual red text? Did you try this?bigeast03 wrote:My status checker changed from complete to decision made today, but I can't log into admitted students. I'm at the LSAT median and over the GPA 75th, but is this bad news?

Got a scholarship letter on Friday. LSN makes it look like there is a ladder for scholarships based off of LSAT score. Still really cool, the best offer I have so far.
BTW:
Man oh man, that GI Bill sounds like quite a deal.

The scholarship is for "academic achievement and leadership promise." I certainly didnt receive it for academic achievement (3.8/168), so it must have been for leadership promise (Marine Corps veteran).
So not only is Michigan free thanks to the GI Bill, but they'll actually be paying me $10,000/yr to attend!!! Barring a Harvard or Stanford miracle (free and half free, respectively), I'll be in Ann Arbor next fall for sure.

Did you get something that said "Law Roles." cause I got that red text too. Then I just clicked on that "current students" business on the right and it worked.bigeast03 wrote:Red text, unfortunately.AntipodeanPhil wrote:What happens when you try to log in - do you get the usual red text? When I click on the "Current Students" thing on the side there, it takes me to a page that requires an ID and password but all I have right now is my MID.

Did you click on that after you already tried hitting submit on the ASW login? There's kind of a knack to it. Also, if the red text is about "Law Roles" then you may be in. If it's the standard sentences about not being able to access because you have not been admitted blabla, then that may be a different story. When I click on the "Current Students" thing on the side there, it takes me to a page that requires an ID and password but all I have right now is my MID.

This seems to be standard. I think every vet I know gets at least $10K.Perdevise wrote:Got a scholarship letter on Friday. LSN makes it look like there is a ladder for scholarships based off of LSAT score. Still really cool, the best offer I have so far.

Yeah, it's the standard. I also just went complete and got my status checker on Thursday of last week. I don't get it. Ah well, somebody has to be the first rejection.sandwiches5000 wrote:Did you click on that after you already tried hitting submit on the ASW login? There's kind of a knack to it. When did you apply?
I applied on November 10th, got my status checker December 1st, and then went complete-decision made on December 5th. I just double checked my app to make sure I didn't make any egregious mistakes but I didn't find anything.

Just for the record, ASW is back to normal. I can log in normally without a problem. Let's go blue!

Is everybody getting the "law roles" error on the ASW? It still says "complete" rather than "decision made" on my status checker, but until today I always got the 2-paragraph red text.
