Anyone else extremely intimidated by the under review list?

I'm intimidated by the huge red letters that are at the top of Stanford's status checker informing me that my app is under review. They look menacing.

But the red/black color scheme is so pleasing to the eyes.

Actually looking at the list of early-mid Oct folks still under review makes me feel pretty good. Seems like they already picked through the files by order of submission and we are in the "maybe" file.

What I don't like about the Stanford admissions process is they don't seem to actually accept applicants. I've been in the (hideous) Stanford Law building so I know it's real, but the only other presence Stanford has in my life is that I think about it every time I glance at my phone to see if I missed a call. Have you ever had a dull ache that just won't go away? My "no calls missed" is a dull ache that has been hanging around since December.

I'd definitely exchange the Columbia acceptance/Hamilton for a Stanford acceptance, though the post was mostly in jest--I just can't say I enjoy the process of law school applications. (For the record, I wasn't really complaining and am very grateful for my offers. I'll be totally happy even if I get dinged by Stanford, which I am mostly expecting.)

I'm exactly 2 weeks after you, gahhhhh. But you have HLS so no sweat. I haven't really been following this thread, but are DLS being sent out pretty much on a weekly basis from now on? So should I expect my DLS in like 2-3 weeks or sooner???

They seem to be going at a pretty steady rate. You might hear back next week if it is a DLS. But they don't appear to send out huge waves of rejections like other schools.
