Sorry this is random but why wouldn't you just send the transcript directly to the school?

I think you need to send an updated LSAC report in order for it to be considered. not 100% sure about this but this is what I assumed.robin600 wrote:Sorry this is random but why wouldn't you just send the transcript directly to the school?

I applied recently. above 75th LSAT and below 25th GPA. Have there been any positive responses with splitters this cycle? I was already on LSN, now hoping to hear from some others.

Re: Fordham Waiting Room
Why if it is directly sent by your undergraduate institution (ie: them to fordham, not them you fordham)? Plus updating with LSAC don't you have to pay the 12$ to send the updated report? Sorry I sent my transcript directly to the school so I'm just trying to make sure it's cool. I'm already WLed though.AlanShore wrote:I think you need to send an updated LSAC report in order for it to be considered. not 100% sure about this but this is what I assumed.robin600 wrote:Sorry this is random but why wouldn't you just send the transcript directly to the school?

Re: Fordham Waiting Room
well i'm not exactly sure why but a few schools i emailed (giving them a headsup about a new LSAC report) wrote something like "Thanks. This will be added to you file but please update LSAC." or "Thanks. We will await the updated report"robin600 wrote:Why if it is directly sent by your undergraduate institution (ie: them to fordham, not them you fordham)? splitters have been getting WL left and right this cycle (with a few exceptions). I think they will all be admitted eventually though.vanstone22 wrote:I applied recently. above 75th LSAT and below 25th GPA. Have there been any positive responses with splitters this cycle? oh but i should note that i'm sure the schools will take whatever you send and add it into your file. i just think they want the updated report to be 100% sure.robin600 wrote:Why if it is directly sent by your undergraduate institution (ie: them to fordham, not them you fordham)? I just read they gave out 2000 acceptances for a class size of 400(FT&PT)! that seems wild

I was comparing to the closest school which was Bama at 500 accepted if I read TLS rankings correctly.

Um excuse me? Opera Soprano is prob our most valued Fordham poster here, she got off the WL last year and would have a lot of valuable insight for youvanstone22 wrote:

Re: Fordham Waiting Room
Well the reason I'm updating LSAC is because it slightly ups my GPA and isn't just to show my grades for the Fall semester. At the end of the day they only take the LSAC GPA so sending it directly to the school would not accomplish this. Plus, once LSAC processes it you don't have to manually update the info to Fordham do you? I thought that was automatic.

Interesting....I took that as a hint that I was droning on at a high pitched female voice.

Re: Fordham Waiting Room
Did I miss some drama in this thread?
Last cycle, FT didn't have much WL movement, but PT had a ton. My roommate, a Feb retaker, got into FT in July (it took that long for space to be available), and she had a 167/3.5. They loved her, but the class was full.
PT had a lot of WL movement. The WL was opened on May 1st, and people kept being admitted up through August. A ton of my friends were former waitlistees. We went through a lot together, and this acceptance meant a lot to us. Fordham has loyal students. Out of a combined class of nearly 480, only 15 people transferred out last year, and 31 transferred in.
25% yield for a T30 is to be expected. Yield is usually much higher for PT, because this is the best school someone with a mid to low GPA 164 is going to get. I believe the school under admitted last year.

I had taken this test and discussed my results in a paper for leadership class two years ago. I re-took just now and had to go back to see what my results were then. ENTJ both times. http://www.personalitypage.com/ENTJ.htmlfenderjsm88 wrote:The Myers-Briggs has poor test-retest reliability, but I usually end up scoring as an INFP. this may make some of you feel better but I was admitted with a 3.4 and 159 pretty late in the game for the PT program. non-URM.
