Should we call and tell them that we heard decisions could be given over the phone and we would like ours? I called earlier and they told me they couldnt tell me..

Do they ALWAYS send out in batches? :(

Not sure, but given what they have done already on 11/20 and 11/24--all mass deferrals--im inclined to believe this.

It seems safe to assume most of the 12/4 (if not all) are rejections.

When people say dinged via phone call, do they mean Cornell called you guys or you guys called Cornell?

Also, very sorry to hear about the dings.

I should have clarified. I called and asked about my decision status.

Cornell actually isn't going to explicitly accept anyone this year. They're just rejecting a ton of applicants and then whoever is left and shows up on the first day of classes is admitted.
