I also got an email with my USC ID on it a few days before the actual letter came. If I were a betting man, I'd say you're in. Congrats!

Gosh they really aren't showing the 166'ers any love...there's a fat gap on LSN just waiting to be filled with GREEN! I really hope they send out some good news soon. Good luck everybody...after Boalt and Michigan WL's I'm thinking more and more that USC will be the place for me.
Oh, did any other URMs talk to Steffi Gascon, the LLSA Admissions and Recruitment Officer? She called a few days ago just to see if I had any questions and to basically just talk about stuff. Really nice, and it left me with a really good feeling about USC. Just thought I'd share some happy thoughts.

I got a letter dated the 9th informing me I was not selected as a finalist for the Rothman scholarship.
no mention of other moneys though.
hopefully that doesn't meant I'm completely cut off.

Good news panicked DF 3/9ers - I just got my acceptance letter in the mail. 169/3.4 but I applied around Thanksgiving and I'd basically given up hope on 'SC.
