Congrats!
When did you go complete?
regarding completion, which was a bit strange: i was compulsively checking the status and saw that i went complete on 12/14. i did not get an e-mail about completion until 12/17. the date on the status checker said 12/14, but below there is the listing for the e-mail which (accurately) says 12/17.
hey and thanks!
Just to clear up some confusion re:different complete dates,
whenever you go complete on the website is the "real" complete date, but the reason there are multiple dates is because Harvard doesn't email you immediately after going complete; every week or so they send out batches of emails to everyone who has gone complete since their last batch went out letting them know their application is complete. The email is just a notifier, however, your real complete date is whatever is on the status checker (not under the email section).

good to know, thanks. i wasn't particularly perturbed by it, but thought it worthy of a mention.

Thanks for the info and good luck on your interview!
I didn't go complete until the 12/22 so I guess there isn't need to worry yet.

Looks like nothing today... this wait is horrible. I think whoever said "next week" a few days ago jinxed us all.

I had a dream that Harvard relocated to Alaska last night.
They still hadn't called though.

Would you still attend HLS if you woke up to an admission call but also the news that they were in fact relocating to the middle of Alaska next year?

As long as it was the new main campus. I'm not going to the UTEP of law schools.

Do they usually all fill up or are there meant to be extras?

Uh, I'm not quite sure about that, but even if there are extra spots, I wouldn't imagine that there'd be too many of those? I mean, it makes more sense to me if they open the spots according to how many JS1s they're expecting/have given out. Pure conjecture, though.

Another poster (cantorb, I believe) pointed out earlier in the cycle that the number of separate interview spots you can see is not to be taken as the exact number of upcoming interview spots available because there can be more than 1 interview scheduled at the same time.
So think of the JS1 spots that are visible to us as a floor, not a ceiling.

To repeat for people who may have missed, I interviewed early this month and was told not to expect ANY admissions decisions for a while, because they are very busy.
Not sure what this means for people who had JS1s in December or so, but I presume January people will be waiting at least another month.
