Just received an e-mail from Dean Faulk. I honestly cannot believe it, but I was accepted! 3.03 GPA and as of yesterday a 170 LSAT. Retaking definitely paid off.

Silence since UR3 on 9/16 for me so it could be worse.

Does anyone know if UVA still tries to maintain a certain number of in-state residents in each class? I'm assuming they are waiting to see how the in-state applicant pool looks in a few months but the silence is much worse considering rejections and waitlists have already been going out.

Same, (early November) plus just got another email saying that it was a mistake, that they won't refund the $80. Which means no extra booze to drown my sorrows that I still haven't gotten an interview request

Wow sorry to hear. I went UR 1/6 too but I submitted my application 1/5. Special treatment for a re-applicant?

Yea I was (and still am) worried but whatever, it's not my top choice but it's still an excellent school.

I saw online that about 50-60% of UVA students pay "full bill" - is this typical at other t14 law schools? I imagined the percentage would be a lot lower, even if scholarships are only 10k/year... Does anyone have numbers on that?

How did you get waitlisted with your stats if you don't mind me asking? You're above 75% on both I think.
