Yikes! WL!
GPA << Median, LSAT > 75th. Submitted mid November with an interview early Feb.
I'll withdraw by the end of the day; good luck to all of those strong on the waitlist!

So how many folks actually get off the waitlist? Anyone have a thread/data/anecdote/prophecy they'd like to share?

Yeah in any case there was no way my GPA would get me a Ruby.

My year (c/o 2015) like 15 people reported getting off which means more than that did. Last year (c/o 2016) less than 5 I think reported so the odds were somewhat lower.
Sorry I don't want to discourage you but you have to be realistic. It's worth hanging on for sure but you shouldn't count on it. Definitely don't give up though - they do take some people and there's no reason it shouldn't be you.
Grats to those of you who got in today!

Not very many if last year is any indication of what will occur. They also start school at the end of sept so you can ride this waitlist until the first week of oct if you'd like

Looks like a lot of decisions today. No time to wade through all the posts. Congrats to those to whom they are due; condolences to the dings.
Just got WLed myself. Decision came just before 5 PM by e-mail. Sad, I like Chicago; it was more than just a T3 backup. Planning on writing LOCI.
LSAT >> 75; GPA <<<< 25 (but with strong addendum). Strong (I think) LOR, essays, slightly above avg. work experience. Applied early Nov, interview late Jan.
Good luck all still waiting and fellow WLs.

No update for me today...still UR2 as of 2/9. How long after the last batch of announcements did the interview requests go out? I'm surprised I didn't hear anything.
