we know that last night's acceptances were from FR, rather than asha admits.

my guess is that the monday dings were a mix of autodings, fully completed FRs, and partially completed FRs (files that received either a '2' or two '3's). my conjecture for the last group is that the admissions order doesn't need to wait on the last review for those with a maximum score of 10, while those who might hit 11 (or possibly 12) are held until complete decisions are in and they can be ordered into acceptances v. waitlist.

How do we know that yesterday wasn't any auto-admits?

Just curious. I wouldn't be one of them anyway.

The Tweet said "came back early," which would seem not auto-ey.

so if you've submitted in November and haven't heard back since, your file is one of these?

(1) in faculty review and they're getting to your file later

(2) in faculty review, reviewed, but not good enough to admit until all the apps are in:

in this case, you will be:
(a) waitlisted
(b) rejected
(c) accepted

The only sure thing is that your app is in faculty review?

Seriously, though, if you submitted in November and you've heard nothing, the fact that you survived the dings would make me think perhaps you're headed to the tiny WL pile? Idk, I'm in the same situation with Stanford.

On my lunch break now.

If a ding is coming I just want to be prepared and know dings are coming out. I don't want to just be casually checking my email and have it pop up.
