So what is everyone's time frame for visiting in March? I plan on driving up Thursday night and leaving Saturday afternoon. Are most of you planning on staying Saturday?

There are visitor lots that you can get a temp permit for. I'm not sure how full these will be on Friday during the school year, but there are 2 parking garages right next to the law school and a huge underground one near the Danforth University Center.NoDayButToday wrote:This is my debate. Definitely arrive Thursday night, but I don't know if I want to fly out Saturday afternoon/night or Sunday morning.wittyhandle wrote:So what is everyone's time frame for visiting in March? Also debating about renting a car. Does anyone know how parking is around WashU law? I imagine St. Louis has taxi companies, but that they're not just roaming out and about and near campus...that it would be helpful to have a car.
You're right about the taxis. You have to make a call to get one, they don't drive around looking for fares.
You could also take a horse and buggy... I don't know how helpful that is.

It might take some convincing to get them out to Wash U, but you can totally get buggy rides all over the place down by the landing. When you get here, drive down past the Arch along the riverfront... You'll probably run over a horse or two.NoDayButToday wrote:Seriously? Like in Charleston, Savannah, or Williamsburg?Ricky-Bobby wrote:You could also take a horse and buggy... I don't know how helpful that is.

I'm flying in on Thursday night and leaving on Tuesday afternoon. WUSTL is my top choice so I wanted time to be able to look at some apartments. I'm staying at that exact same hotel! I get in too late to go to the faculty reception on Thursday though.HuskyMuskie wrote:Flying in Thursday afternoon and leaving on Sunday. Staying at the Crowne Plaza in Clayton. Got in 2/12! I'm very excited. Finally found people talking about the ASP! Is there a facebook group for people going on March 7th?
