I haven't gotten anything yet but with the fee waiver/packet they sent me there was a little note from the Dean of Admissions (theoretically) saying 'Your biochemistry degree would go great with a JD!' I'm sure it's something they do for a ton of people, but it's a nice touch.a-quad wrote:Accepted! 169/3.87 (Acceptance letter had a very nice handwritten note.)

Sorry to hear about the rejections/congrats to those who have been accepted! Have you all been hearing via mail only, or have your status checkers been updating as well?

Mine says it was updated on the 26th, but that's not true because I checked it yesterday. So for all of you who are stuck on the 26th, don't expect any changes today.amitty1019 wrote:Sorry to hear about the rejections/congrats to those who have been accepted! I also got a little personal note with my fee waiver letter. Over 2 months later though, I'm still waiting...JUburton wrote:I haven't gotten anything yet but with the fee waiver/packet they sent me there was a little note from the Dean of Admissions (theoretically) saying 'Your biochemistry degree would go great with a JD!' Hi everyone! Current Michigan 3L here, and leaving for the summer. If there are any summer starters looking for housing, my roommates and I live in a 3 bedroom right across the street from the law school and want to sublet. Details below, please message me if interested!
Available: May 15-August 25
Description: Spacious 3 BR furnished apartment, located literally across the street from the law school! The apartment takes up two floors, with kitchen, living room, and bathroom on the first floor and bedrooms on the second floor. All utilities, internet, and two parking spaces are included! $1350 per month for apartment (or $450 per month for single room).

got the same note, though they misspelled the name of my ug institution so I'm not sure if that note means anything to be honest.MCFC wrote:Yup. Oh yeah, I certainly wasn't thinking I was special or anything; I'm sure they try to personalize each note with something like that. Just funny looking back on it.Audeamus wrote:

Aaaand I"m out. Didn't have much hope for Michigan. Even though this is my first rejection, I think it probably hurt the least.

If insanity really is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, my desire to check the UMich law status proves that i'm insane. Literally have checked this thing 4 times today. FOREVER COMPLETE

Yeah I found out through the status checker. I don't know when it changed though, I've been in Yosemite all weekend and just now sat down at a computer. I think the date said Jan 26 though.UMich11 wrote:Did you just find out (i.e. check status checker/no word this morning, and then within the last 30min it has changed)? if so, how?JesusChrist wrote:Aaaand I"m out. My status checker hasn't been updated since Friday. I'm going to go ahead and read more into this than I should.

Friday or Saturday? Everyone seems to be stuck at the 26th, so if that's where you are, I wouldn't go crazy over it

Checked my status just now on a whim...as of Saturday, I'M IN!
Rushing home now to check my mailbox.
Oh, and if you're wondering, 3.92/172.
