For the summer start people- do you know when the first deposit and everything is due? I'm a little nervous about the early start commitment.

It's on the letter in the packet. For example, mine says Jan. 15.

Oh, wow. That's early. I guess that's just the $300 deposit? I guess full tuition due in April or something... Hm. Hopefully I hear from other schools soon so I can figure this out.

I saw that this was pretty much true as of a few years ago, but does anyone know if Michigan is still the cheapest T14? Or atleast one of the cheapest t14's?

I think I saw yesterday that it's the cheapest T14, but they're all really quite close before merit aid is factored in.

Is anyone else having trouble getting into the admitted students' page? I'm trying to see if they've put up any scholarship info but haven't been able to get in...

I just checked my fin aid. 54k total merit scholarship.

I think there's something wrong with the page. I didn't know I was admitted until I clicked on the "current students" link on the right after I tried submitting my info via the ASW login fields.

In other news... I am looking at this and I am so much in love.

It's so prettyyyyyyy. Do you know what the deal is with housing for the summer start? Do people normally live on campus for that?

I was an 11/22 complete, and I could access ASW as of yesterday.

Nope, people typically sublet. Also there is no real on-campus living this year.

Congrats! Definitely going, on the fence, or just using for leverage with other schools?

Oh, and in case anyone is wondering... The last I checked my status checker was Thursday night or Friday morning I think. No ASW access. Accessed it on Sunday when it said "Complete" still on my status checker. Now it says "Decision." I thought that was pretty fast. It said my package was mailed 12/4 on ASW.

Thanks!!!
I applied on 10/27, went complete on 11/21 and my package was mailed on 12/04. Accepted for summer start!!
I'm very happy and would love to attend UMich, but I don't know if I will be able to afford it. Since I'm an international student I'm not eligible for loans, so I hope I get some scholarship.

Congrats Unagi.

I'm pretty sure my ED isn't going to pan out at this point. But I'm very confident in a 170+ on my December sitting, so hopefully that pushes me into admit after I'm rolled into RD.

Same. Well above 75th for LSAT, too.

LSN does not provide much clarity. I was discouraged to see so many people last year who applied to Mich with 172+ and 3.6+ get waitlisted or rejected. Still, I was also encouraged by the number of people with those numbers who applied in late Sept/early October who didn't hear back until Christmastime, while people with more marginal numbers were accepted in waves in late November and early December.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
