Just got a grade request. Is this a good/bad/ok thing?

Also, it will be at least another week before my fall term grades are released. Should I send them an e-mail telling them that my fall semester didn't end until today?

It's an okay-ish thing. Means they haven't made a decision on you. I would email them and tell them you will send your grades but to expect a delay because they haven't been released. Otherwise they might wonder if they didn't get them for a few weeks.

24th and I have had kind of a crazy busy week so Im not exactly sure what Voldemort successful means but i havent had time to do anything admissions related this week, so I think that statment should cover it

I think it means you won't get a Hamilton or Butler. You might still get a smaller scholarship.

Just picked up my VCE. It arrived yesterday, but I wasn't able to get to it until today. No mention of scholarship, unfortunately, but it's definitely an exciting acceptance. Columbia was the first application I submitted and the last school to get back to me.

Edit: because people will ask: the postmark was 1/24 and I live in a major city in the southwest.

Congrats congrats congrats to the new admits, especially Take Two, 1212, and MyLegendLives!! Incredibly exciting.

I am still sans VCE on the East Coast, but am hoping to hear good news soon (maybe they did/ are doing multiple mailings this time). You know how no one vomits one time? Once it starts, it just keeps on going. Why should Columbia be any different??

It's probably not a big deal but im borderline and don't want to screw anything up at this point.

I think you get your registrar's office to email them.
