It's an okay-ish thing. Means they haven't made a decision on you. I would email them and tell them you will send your grades but to expect a delay because they haven't been released. Otherwise they might wonder if they didn't get them for a few weeks.sfreuden wrote:Just got a grade request. Is this a good/bad/ok thing?
Also, it will be at least another week before my fall term grades are released. Should I send them an e-mail telling them that my fall semester didn't end until today?

Just got a VCE, down in DC! No mention of scholarship, which I wasn't expecting anyway, oh well!
Also I did indeed manage to do the Voldemort thing.

Yay, congrats!! Btw, Take Two, you've been one of the nicest, most encouraging, upbeat, and supportive people on here. (Maybe the Midwestern part explains it.Take Two wrote:VCE in the midwest here!

VCE! I so did not expect this that when I successfully voldemorted I was very skeptical.
No scholly info, does that mean I won't get anything?
In Florida, postmark 1/24.

I think it means you won't get a Hamilton or Butler. You might still get a smaller scholarship.jpal13 wrote:VCE! I so did not expect this that when I successfully voldemorted I was very skeptical.

Just picked up my VCE. It arrived yesterday, but I wasn't able to get to it until today. No mention of scholarship, unfortunately, but it's definitely an exciting acceptance. Columbia was the first application I submitted and the last school to get back to me.
Edit: because people will ask: the postmark was 1/24 and I live in a major city in the southwest.

I submitted yesterday (so late, I know). Any idea how long I might wait to hear back? CLS received my application yesterday, too, and the status checker says "Completion Pending."

Congrats congrats congrats to the new admits, especially Take Two, 1212, and MyLegendLives!! Incredibly exciting.
I am still sans VCE on the East Coast, but am hoping to hear good news soon (maybe they did/ are doing multiple mailings this time). You know how no one vomits one time? Once it starts, it just keeps on going. Why should Columbia be any different??
Good luck to all!

Fall Grade Request. It was in my spam folder so i missed it all day lol. Does anyone know the best way to send your new grades? The email says to email them your fall term grades asap and I was wondering if I just type in the class and the grade, or do I take a screenshot of my unofficial transcript online?
It's probably not a big deal but im borderline and don't want to screw anything up at this point.
