Just got denied - 170/3.67 so unsurprising. I got a call from a restricted number a few mins before but I missed it...that must have been unrelated right?

I think I might turn off the 3g on my cell, every time it vibrates I nearly have a panic attack.
But if we're speculating... do you guys think we might be in the straight to the wait list pile... maybe that's why we're being left in the dark?

If that is the case, why not hold us first? This is just cruel

It is crueeeel- especially since those of us who haven't heard anything either have an LSAT above median, a gpa above median, or both. I'm taking the lack of communication as a personal attack, since my numbers technically are on par there has to be something else wrong

It could be that they're trying to decide what to do with us. As in we're teetering on the brink between JR1 and hold and they haven't decided which we'll get yet.eaa1537 wrote:Nulli Secundus wrote:eaa1537 wrote:I think I might turn off the 3g on my cell, every time it vibrates I nearly have a panic attack.

most of the held people were splitters
maybe you guys are wait-lists, but maybe they are seriously considering admitting you right now...
Either way you're certainly not being rejected, so that's a good thing!

Most of the held people today were splitters? Or in general? 'Cause I know a decent number of us who are def not splitters.

It seemed like a lot were. People were speculating that. I definitely would say the majority certainly were. Some just had mediocre stats....dulcatis wrote:Most of the held people today were splitters? Or in general? 'Cause I know a decent number of us who are def not splitters.

Re: Harvard 2011 Applicants
Have mostly been lurking and may have missed similar posts before, but as a splitter myself (3.78/178) and seeing this pattern, I am wondering...do people think, considering they've let in a large number of reverse-splitters (by HLS standards), that they might start to let in a lot of splitters at some point? Not holding my breath, but I went UR earlyish December and haven't heard a peep so am in the same boat as a lot of you guys, and was curious if other people are having the same (misguidedly hopeful?) thoughts.s0ph1e2007 wrote:eaa1537 wrote: It is crueeeel- especially since those of us who haven't heard anything either have an LSAT above median, a gpa above median, or both. Yeah it's definitely gotta count for something that we haven't been rejected yet! I just don't want to get my hopes up at this point, and I certainly feel like I've been narrowly escaping every wave of rejections thus far...

How neurotic I am about this matter is already a running joke on the forum, so can someone please make a new topic with one of the names below?
- Forgotten by Harvard 2011
- Hey Harvard? Are you there?
- See no Harvard, Hear no Harvard, Tell no Harvard.
