I like the alphabetical ordering theory. My last name is as close to the end as you can get!

Mine is very close to front. ARE WE ON TO SOMETHING?

I'm beginning to realize how much insight we appear to be gaining into their processes. I hope one day to work in that office for a living just so this scenario can play out:

Boss: Hey would you go ahead and get the applicants files out? They're grouped by
Me (interrupting): Dates. Yes, I know. Would you like the 12/13'ers?
Boss: Uh...sure. Let's start with looking at the ones with
Me: Alphabetical, already sorted sir!
Boss: Ok, you're fired for being creepy.

It could be that the order them every so often and separate them into groups at a different time. It could still be the case...

Complete date just updated from 11/18 to 12/1. I don't know it means anything, but it's nice to see some movement.

Were you checking compulsively and it just did it like a few seconds ago? Or could it have been any time this past hour? I just want to know if they're still hanging around at the office looking over the 11/18 pile, haha

The fact that ya'll moved and I'm left on 18 with what seems to be only major reverse splitters and splitters (and i'm barely a spliter, judging by their graph last year I'm an Auto) makes me extremely nervous about the quality of my application going into the rest of this process. Guess I'll get the ball rolling on the other safety apps. This is easily the worst I've felt all cycle, despite the fact I'm probably over-analyzing.

do we have a good picture of who has been updated to 12/1 yet? is there a pattern? Or is this similar to russell crowe in a beautiful mind, trying to figure out a mathematical reason why birds fly around randomly? or why that woman gets mugged? are we being mugged?
