Re: Fordham Waiting Room
I posted this before but I think the question is more appropriate now- how many of the 476 students are FT? Overall that seems like a large #, trying to gauge what the size of each individual division is??
EDIT: does anyone know whether the stats on their website (http://law.fordham.edu/career-planning/1410.htm) are FT and PT combined? If not, where can I find the stats for each?

goosey, if info on your TLS profile is correct and you are a URM, a score below 165 might do it, but I think in any event with 165, or better maybe a 166 you should have a good shot at PT.goosey wrote: thanks!!!
I have a 161 twice--what do you think it will take to convince them to take me PT? sub 3 gpa. 165+?

Sanbun, I responded to this earlier. Per TLS profile: "Entering class size 2008: full-time: 316, part-time: 160." I'm assuming it's about the same.SanBun wrote:I posted this before but I think the question is more appropriate now- how many of the 476 students are FT? I just realized that I transmitted my Fordham app on 12/10 and I haven't received anything from them confirming that they have received it...should I be worried about this?

I dont think so, there seems to have been a mad rush to get the EA decisions out, and from I noticed on my own lsac account is that when they request the report, it can take up to 8 days for them to receive--the fact that this was right before the holidays is probably what slowed it down. If I were you I would check my lsac account to see if they requested a report yet or not. if not, then I'd probably worry a little..
Do they have break until after new years? or is there a possibility of decisions being sent out this week?

Anybody know off the top of their head Fordham's LRAP (is it good or not) and how well their grads place in PI?

Actually, I know OS has discussed this at some length. Try running a search, maybe? If I can remember where I saw this thread, I'll post back! (As I recall, the LRAP is so-so but the grads place well.... don't quote me!)robin600 wrote:Anybody know off the top of their head Fordham's LRAP (is it good or not) and how well their grads place in PI?

Got my status check email today, which also has my application complete as of today. Applied 12/21, guess the office is open this week.

I just got my status checker today too.
I applied (3.6x, 164) for the full time program but in light of my lsat and some new work opportunities I think I want to switch my application to the evening division. Is it possible to call and make this change? I believe the admissions office is closed until the 4th, but I plan to call back then. Anyone have any experience doing this?

Email the school and ask to switch. You should be golden for PT with those numbers. I got in with less.colforbin wrote:I just got my status checker today too.

So I should be able to switch? Think switching would hurt my chances in any way? Are there scholarships available for pt with my numbers?

MissLucky go ahead, it shouldn't hurt to try your LSAT is the 25th and your GPA is around the median.

I updated my transcript and I sent the email to their general admissions email address. I got a response back so I'm sure it is the right one.Lolek wrote:MissLucky go ahead, it shouldn't hurt to try your LSAT is the 25th and your GPA is around the median.
