Feel free to use the search function before you ask a question :D
Yes, they do release decisions on weekends. Mine came on the 10th day, which was a Saturday.

Ow.
That is really surprising. Did you write the supplemental essays?
Yep.

The email says "If you are able to visit Duke Law in the coming weeks, you are welcome to schedule an optional interview with the office of admissions to discuss your candidacy." On the visiting page, it says interviews are informational and do not affect admissions. I take it this interview is no different?
First off, congrats on your great stats and don't worry--you'll be fine.

If Duke is your top choice, then visit, interview, and convince admissions of that. You got priority reserve for 1 of 3 possible reasons: (1) yield protection; (2) a specific problem from your application; or (3) a mistake. Number (1) is, by far, the most likely reason. But either way, the interview would let you iron out the problem.
Don't feel bad, I'm way above both of their medians and they placed me on Priority Reserve as well. Is this considered YP?

Went complete and ready for review on 1/6 (sadly, my latest app submission). How long did you guys wait to hear back/see change on the status checker?

Does your status checker still say ready for review? Did you apply via PT?

Hi all, checking in here. Just submitted my application. Can someone clue me in to what all of this "PT" talk is? Part time? I'm a newb. Forgive me.

And it seems from LSN that Duke is pretty quick with decision turn-arounds. Has this typically been the case?

No problem, Navy.

Duke has a program called Priority Track that they extend to some people through CRS based on credentials (similar to how merit-based fee waivers get issued). It basically guarantees that they'll get back to you with a response one way or another within 10 days of the application being complete.

Good luck with your app!

Same here. My status changed to "Decision made" about three hours ago (or at least that's when I noticed), but no email yet.

Was thinking I might be a case of YP--any thoughts?
Did you write any of the supplemental essays? It could be that they don't think you're genuinely interested but who knows. The whole admissions process is so subjective that you never know what that particular committee thought on that particular day.

Just to answer the second part of that, the turnaround numbers are probably skewed downwards by all the PT applicants, which you might've already gathered.

And congrats to the new admits!!

I put two and two together after I realized how PT worked. Lol. I will join the rest of the non PT crowd in the waiting game. :)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
