Yes. The non-specific nature of it (even if you've already submitted an LOCI-type language) makes me think they're casting a very big net right now.

Yeah. Met with an adcomm, said they were totally full. I suspect they might even be overenrolled, but even if not best case is we'd get the handful of people who bail to retake/reapply/work, defer, or get WL'd out to T6 schools between now and orientation.

Off the top of my head: larger class sizes, higher than desired tuition discount rate if it's mostly due to lots of acceptances of $ offers, problems placing everyone into jobs in 3 years, difficulties getting students into classes/clinics/programs they want, difficulty maintaining medians. ...Parking.

Sure there's other/better reasons as well.

The email I received said what group's activity I was assigned, but didn't say what the activity was. The survey is now closed. I kind of made some snap decisions, so I'd like to see what I actually got myself into.

I would email whatever 2/3L that is hosting the event. They should have named them in the email, or at least they gave me their names when I got my email.

Just got released from the WL. Assume it went to everyone since they just started orientation. Sigh
