quick question guys about finaid: (double-posted in the Class of 2015 thread)

Financial Aid Application Checklist


Signed copies of 2011 federal income tax returns
Please include a signed copy of the 1040 form, all schedules and all W-2 forms for the applicant and the applicant's spouse, if applicable.
Parent federal tax returns are required if you will be under 24 years of age by December 31 or claimed as a dependent on your parents' federal income tax return.
Please do not submit state tax returns.

When you fill out NeedAccess, there is a page telling you the next steps for each school, if there are any. BU requires that you send your parents' signed 2011 return. I'm assuming they'll need mine as well, since it seems odd for them not to need it, so I just sent both.


I assume we physically mail all that info? Other schools have websites where you input that information but BU is different I guess? Or is this handled via NeedAccess?

Just got my admit packet in the mail. Super excited about it.

No aid info was included though. Do I need to email finaid to see if we can work something out?

I got 23k from UCDavis and I'm hoping BU can at least match that! BU my numba 1 unless I get off the Texas waitlist (being instate there and all).


Also, does anyone know how long Need Access takes at BU?

Hahah Come on!(In Gob Bluth's voice). Especially since Twelve6's whole purpose in life is centered around a specific date. Even our name has the date in it.

Have fun though! Nothing like leaving the country to distract you from law school drama. (I did this after I took the LSAT and it was the best decision I've ever made...)
