I'm a graduating 3L selling a 3BR/2BA house about 10 min from campus. Figured this thread might have some folks starting to look for housing. If interested, PM me.

Just withdrew. It was a really hard decision, so I sincerely hope a worthy TLSer is able to enjoy my spot!

Sorry for all the WLs, Jam. But what on earth did you do wrong to have a 176 and have a streak of WLs? Just bad luck? This has been a weird cycle anywayJamMasterJ wrote:soon, but not quite yet, it seemsmsblaw89 wrote:Anything interesting happening with Duke?

You'd be surprised at the number of people with 3.4-3.6/175+ getting waitlisted everywhere. I mean, I don't think anyone's done quite as badly as me, but I know of someone that recently had only gotten into WUSTL with numbers pretty similar to mine. That and my application isn't too special beyond my LSAT score.msblaw89 wrote:Sorry for all the WLs, Jam. But what on earth did you do wrong to have a 176 and have a streak of WLs? Just bad luck? I was accepted to Duke's summer class (JD/MA) program yesterday off the waitlist. I think I read somewhere that they evaluate the summer class first for waitlist spots (for obvious reasons). Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Hey congrats! Did you write a loci or send in any additional materials after the "continued interest" email? Do you mind sharing your stats?

Over the past few months, I've sent a loci, updated resume, and an additional letter of rec. I was worried I had gone overboard with additional materials, but I felt they were all relevant. Stats are 166/3.82NDIrish2012 wrote:Hey congrats! Did you write a loci or send in any additional materials after the "continued interest" email? Do you mind sharing your stats?

Did you send in a LOCI? What about any supplemental materials?

Just got in off priority track waitlist. Had priority track decision 2/23. Sent a short Loci a week ago maybe. Super Excited, we'll see if Georgetown can get me off their double secret waitlist as well.

Re: Duke c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
My husband (173 lsat not sure gpa but pretty high) was invited to apply to Duke through the priority track program. He applied in the first few days of December. Sometime mid-December his application was put "under review" and it has been "under review" with a Dec. date ever since. Over 4 months, under review, with no activity whatsoever.
I won't get into the details of his application, but it was not surprising that he was put "under review." What is surprising to me, is that if they were going to reject him, why make us wait so long? I understand they don't have time to worry about causing us stress, but why cause us such unnecessary stress! :p I don't understand why they are tabling his application completely for this long. He is taking it in stride better than I am. I need to know what we are doing next year!! Has anyone else had this experience?
Thanks, and I hope everyone has a great week!

All applicants go under review...not sure why they are taking so long, but probably they don't know if they have enough room to accept him or not at this time.beckyfargo wrote:My husband (173 lsat not sure gpa but pretty high) was invited to apply to Duke through the priority track program.
