hoping for another batch tomorrow, but i feel like its doubtful... us 11/30's are probably going to have to wait

Does anyone have any idea why there is such variation between when people submitted and when they went UR?

For example, I submitted 10/28 and didn't go UR until 11/30, but there are other people who submitted at the same time or later than me that went UR before 11/30.

Seems pretty random to me. It can't have anything to do with numbers or whatever, yours are much better than mine but I went UR 11/14 despite having applied a week later than you.

I'm mostly sitting back and relaxing since I would be very happy if I ended up at NYU. A bit anxious about Columbia, not expecting a whole lot out of YHS (with low expectations, I just push it out of my mind until I hear something), and I prefer NYC to Chicago, so don't care that much about UChi.

Didn't apply for any of the scholarship programs since I have no interest in PI, but yeah a quarter million dollars of debt is a bit daunting....
