Seriously, this waiting is out of control. How do you waitlist people and then accept them and STILL not review other apps? It's driving me crazy!

I have heard nothing at all for full time 2011... I wish that they would just tell me either yes or no, the wait is killing me...

Same here, I need to get an Apartment asap. Plus my gf is waiting on the decision as well so she can know whether she can drop summer classes and finish Grad school in the fall here in Austin or finish it all in the summer since she would move with me to Houston if i was accepted. Ridiculous...

I know the deadline for Financial Aid forms (New Student App) is May 2nd or 3rd, should we submit paperwork even though a lot of us still haven't heard anything?

just an update for the day, STCL is still complete, UH is still under review, and Mercer is still complete.

Yes, I talked to the financial aid guy and he said send in financial aid paperwork even if you are still waiting on a response!

I am going to go negative on STCL for a moment.
Don't get me wrong, this is where I will be attending, but I am reticent.

I finally got my first piece of correspondence by mail. It was information on loans.
There was no letterhead, no logo, and there were 2 typos that I noticed on the first read through.

It's depressing that this one of few options for me.

When I got my acceptance to TSU they manually corrected a bunch of spelling errors with a pen. Like couldn't they reprint the paper?

I'm about to be going into my sixth month on a WL at tech, LOL. Hope yours is quicker.

It was almost exactly one month between my WL and acceptance.

WL 3-15
Acceptance 4-14

At this point I'm not sure if it's better to be waitlisted or still on App Complete. It seems like its the same thing to me.

It would feel like the same thing. a point that right before a rejection or acceptance.

I just realized Ive wasted so many months just waiting on a decision from this school. Shouldn't have waited at all, just gotten a decision whenever it came and dealt with it then.

I just went from App Complete to WL yesterday and it definitely feels like the same thing. I just sent my LOCI so hopefully that will help - who knows at this point!

I am kinda glad I haven't received a decision yet, because if its a bad one I'm just not gonna feel like staying in this thread and the thread for my other school is pretty much dead so I'll go back to random thread browsing.

I have been browsing this site for quite a while but decided that I finally needed to post!

Part time program:
App received: 2/11
App complete: 3/8
Waitlisted: 4/25
LOCI sent: 4/26

I spoke with the admission office and they said there is no rank on the waitlist and they will pull applications at random. Am I missing something here? I would assume that they would have preferance even on the waitlist...

They went on to say that I may not find out until early June!!!...this is going to drive me insane.. **sigh**

Does anyone have any insight on the waitlist process?

App Complete: 12/2
Waitlist: 4/25
LOCI sent: 4/26
