still complete since early early December, I don't plan on ever hearing back from USC.

All USC phone numbers start with (213) 740-xxxx, so I don't think you have much to worry about (unless someone spoofed their phone number to show that number on your caller ID).

I'm at 2/22 Under review, which is an update from 11/22. Otherwise no.

Huh. It is conceivable that there was a wave of decisions on Friday and the status checkers have not been updated.

Yah I really have no idea- I was even more surprised than you guys- I had been joking with a friend I made at WUSTL about my not having been in yet (and her not being in at UCLA yet, but in at USC, with identical numbers).

I'm curious to see what they offer me $$$$ wise. I don't think it'll be enough to lure me to LA, especially South Central, but you never know.

I was also at Wash U's admitted students day, and I missed a call from a number I didn't recognize while I was there. Reading your post thought it could've been USC...not a 213 area code though. False alarm.

I am a strong applicant and have applied for the Rothman scholarship having been invited back in December. I have not, however, received an admissions decision. IR update from 11/22 to 2/22. I've read that most Rothman applicants are admitted but does anyone know whether there's any truth to it?

I also got a phone call from USC on Friday. I had already been accepted, they were just reminding me about the admitted students reception in Chicago because I'm in/from the area.

So don't worry if you get in and don't get a phone call/haven't gotten a phone call yet, I think they were just calling everyone in the area to tell them about the reception.

They read apps over the weekend? If my admissions office hadn't released decisions in almost 3 weeks I would too, but damn...

I'm still at 2/22. Hopefully I get a positive decision Monday. They seem to do decisions on Mondays and Fridays...

Any concensus the number of review updates people are receiving prior to a DF? I've seen a lot of peope with 3 updates prior to any decision and my 2nd was on 2/17. Just hoping I dont have another month+ of waiting; this is geting kind of old...
