does the amount of complete updates mean anything? like, would someone that had 4 date updates be more likely to get in than only once or twice? i don't know if there's any rhyme or reason to that

Same here. Submitted 11/04, went "complete" on 11/16, then updated on 11/23 (same day as interview), and then "complete" again for 12/01.

Not sure how to interpret this, though fingers crossed.

Okay, this has probably been covered, so I apologize in advance. But when everyone talks about 3 updates, is that 3 updates including the first date you are complete at or excluding it?

Mine is 11/10(recieved)-->11/12(complete)-->11/18(complete)-->12/1(complete)

That's the same as me (except I'm complete 15 instead of 12 for my first). But does this put us to the number of updates some people start getting acceptances at?

Yeah, but birdlaw has almost the exact same numbers as me. If I had heard back from another school already I wouldn't be too concerned with the quality of my application, but I haven't sooooo... this sucks.
