I guess I don't really NEED to live in a state with a high progressive income tax.

UT Austin,
Thanks for the Ding a week after I visited your university. After walking through your campus, my wife and I were all tuckered out from yelling at homeless panhandlers to get a job.

I'm going to write one up for every law school I applied to, just so I know what to say when I need to vent my frustrations.

UT Austin,
Not really for my normally borderline rejection, but for all of their rejections this cycles to people that can get in real t14's... Good luck on your yield % this year in your quest to move up even more in the rankings

Great way to keep from getting your hopes up too. You'll talk yourself out of wanting to go to any of them if you work at it! lolKibblesnBitts wrote:I'm going to write one up for every law school I applied to, just so I know what to say when I need to vent my frustrations.

Dear UVA,
Fuck you. 100% Positive you didn't read anything I wrote. Sorry I didn't write a why UVA. I started one...
"I really want to go to your law school so I don't miss out on three more years of natty light from a red cup...."
...but I couldn't think of how to finish it. Maybe...
"But your building looks like a piece of shit compared to your beautiful business school, an I'm pretty sure you only added the front facade (the one in all the pictures) at a later date when you realized that 70s architecture is about as stately and decent-looking as a ram's scrotum."

I applied to 17 schools, about 14 of which were reaches. Personally, I welcome my new Ding Bar overlords.Take Two wrote:Nothing to report yet but I see this thread in my future and im stoked about it

Re: THE DING BAR
Are you me? I applied to 18 (well 19, but only because at the time I didn't realize "Fee Waiver" meant still pay $16) and I'd say 11 or 12 of them can be reaches. I'm pretty much throwing a bunch of darts blindly at a board, hoping some would stick. And one of them surprisingly has so far....but only because I hear about its selectivity despite not requiring extraordinary numbers. So, as of now, I'm heading to Hawai'i if every other school rejects me.neuroticjew wrote:I applied to 17 schools, about 14 of which were reaches. Re: THE DING BAR
I nabbed BU this week, which felt really good, but at the moment it's my only announced decision. I'm furiously preparing Ding Bar snark for my T14's though.KibblesnBitts wrote:Are you me?
