Grr, that's a lot of moneyccs1702 wrote:
Word. Yeah, I just google mapped it, and there are a bunch. This place: http://www.nyundergroundfitness.com is only $70/month. It looks small, but it's all good.
Of course, all of this is second to actually getting accepted first. I think I'm getting ahead of myself.

If I get in, guess I'll stay at my home gym since I live in Jersey (21$/month). It's all good.

"Only" $70 a month, wow... I pay $30 a month ($0 down too) for a month to month membership at LA Fitness in South Florida. Are there any decent gyms within a 10 block radius in the $50 or so range? I found a picture of the McMahon gym online and it doesn't look like it's going to cut itccs1702 wrote:

Re: Fordham Waiting Room
There are a ton of gyms in the city, small local gyms, YMCA's, Planet Fitnesses, etc. As an NYSC member up north, I can tell you that at least for me, it's worth the $65 a month. It's always clean, open real early and closes real late, up-to-date equipment, etc. But there are a lot more options than just NYSC and the other big name gyms.

Despite knowing there's no chance status checker will get updated...I think I'll be checking anyways, it's a ritual at this point =(H. E. Pennypacker wrote:Good Morning and Merry Christmas! Enjoy these next few days when you don't have to worry about status checkers!

But then why does LSN have people that submitted the same day get responses already?Lolek wrote:Since you're regular decision don't expect anything until after the New Year.trey wrote:i went complete 11/16 and have yet to get a response....some people that submitted with those numbers the same time as me have gotten acceptances already. Re: Fordham Waiting Room
If it's an acceptance, that may be due to some specific aspect the applicant had and the school was particularly interested in, such as URM or very high # or something else. Those are some exceptional circumstances when some schools don't stick to the rolling principle strictly, but they do most of the time. I'd say probably 80-90% of accepted applicants wait a longer time to hear back, so don't worry about it. Just sit tight.trey wrote:But then why does LSN have people that submitted the same day get responses already?Lolek wrote:Since you're regular decision don't expect anything until after the New Year.trey wrote:i went complete 11/16 and have yet to get a response....some people that submitted with those numbers the same time as me have gotten acceptances already. Thanks, NY, but you saw the tiny text, right? I don't know if I can spend three years in Carlisle, PA. On a side note, I went to Costco yesterday.
