Still waiting for my DR
bc seems very selective this year
yup i went complete 1/2...they do seem selective..but hopefully this is a good thing..they are taking a while to render decisions..but i am in no rush..let them take their time and make a good decision...perhaps in my favor would be nice

They do! Everyone was so friendly and happy to be there.
You are referring to the students, right?
yes...to the law students. the nonathlete UG's I was friends with didn't like it. Who else would I have been referring to in the thread besides the law students, though?

It seems like alot of ppl on this blog don't seem to know this so I thought I would share... unless you are ED BC does not begin reviewing apps until 1/5. They rank the order they review them based on when you submit ( so submitting early does help). But they don't start reviewing at all really until January 5th ( according to admissions office)

As did I. My LSAT score did go up from 164 --> 167 though.

Not sure if this is the correct thread, but for those admitted, did you get an email about the Ropes and Gray reception or did you find it on the BC Law website? I was admitted but never got a reception email. Is this by invite only?

Via Email. The other two TLSers I know of who also received the email work in downtown Boston just like I do so my guess is that they just sent out emails to the local admits (it's on a Thursday night). If you want to come just go online and register- the more the merrier!

I was admitted in early February. Just got a call from the admissions office asking if I had any questions and congradulating me on the acceptance. Anyone else get the extra call? Does it mean anything?

I did! I don't know if it means anything special, but I thought it was a nice touch.

I don't think so. I'm a Chinese applicant living in China and I received the email.

Did the status checker update to reflect the new DR date?
