I played phone tag with the dean from UCLA yesterday and today. Finally we got in touch. I am in. My numbers are 175 and 2.98 I applied on 12/5/9. They didn't mention scholarships on the phone so I'll have to wait and see for that. So far this is the best ranked school that accepted me but only Berkeley rejected me so there is still hope for Yale.

Just accepted to the University of Utah via phone call from Dean Aguilar. And now I can officially and politely withdraw as there is no chance I will be attending.

What does tuition equalization mean? That they'll give you a scholarship to cover it each year no matter if it's raised?

it means they give a scholarship to make up the difference for being out of state

my status checker at Michigan has remained "complete" but updated from an earlier date to 2/2 yesterday and then 2/3 today. Is this normal? TO be honest, I didn't notice any other changes before today...

It updates every day except Sundays.
