Anyone else just sitting around waiting for a WL notification after submitting in October?

Someone complaining about a two month turn around! Not to use relative privation here but....
I applied in late October and haven't heard a peep.
I applied around the same time at Chicago, and I have more UR dates than anyone I know (and no interview to show for it)
I kid you not my dates are 11/19, 11/30, 12/23, 1/19, 2,9
: )

I applied in Sept to all schools (save Yale) got a JS1 in Nov, interview with CC in the first few rounds and have not gotten a decision from 5/6 of the T6.mm2368 wrote:Someone complaining about a two month turn around! Not to use relative privation here but....

I'm not worried about you with those awesome stats. Hang in! At least you survived the hold/reserve waves at CCcurry1 wrote:I applied in Sept to all schools (save Yale) got a JS1 in Nov, interview with CC in the first few rounds and have not gotten a decision from 5/6 of the T6.mm2368 wrote:Someone complaining about a two month turn around! Would it be considered unusual for someone to be invited for a scholarship interview at Columbia and yet be completely ignored by Harvard? Asking for a friend.

I'd say there is nothing "usual" about any of this.dddddd90 wrote:Would it be considered unusual for someone to be invited for a scholarship interview at Columbia and completely ignored by Harvard? Asking for a friend.
I have a friend with an acceptance at Chicago but WLs at NU and Duke.
I have another friend with a JS1, acceptance at Chicago, but WL at CLS.
and another friend with acceptances at Yale, CLS, NYU, and Chicago but "Held" at Penn.
All of this is batshit crazy.

Hi, I'm a JS1, accepted to Chicago and NYU, WL at CLS and Penn, thoroughly confused and anxiety-ridden mess. Nice to meet y'all!mm2368 wrote:I'd say there is nothing "usual" about any of this.dddddd90 wrote:Would it be considered unusual for someone to be invited for a scholarship interview at Columbia and completely ignored by Harvard? Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Looking at that same MyLSN data for all application dates. 61% of all decisions over the past couple years have come in March, regardless of when people apply. Obviously not entirely representative because 203 of the 560 decisions for those years are acceptances, but there's probably some validity to the timeline still.

Yeah but a proper sorting hat would tell half the applicants, "Don't go to law school dummy, save yourself" and thereby dash the dreams of youngsters and adcomms alike. So no go kemosabe.dddddd90 wrote:LSAC just needs a sorting hat.mm2368 wrote:I'd say there is nothing "usual" about any of this.dddddd90 wrote:Would it be considered unusual for someone to be invited for a scholarship interview at Columbia and completely ignored by Harvard? Just had my JS1! The interviewer was the nicest, smiliest (is that a word, idk, my brain is dead) man I have ever met! Was actually a lot more relaxed than my other interviews in style, but some of the questions were a little tricky/caught me off guard! Was definitely really obvious that they really take the time to read your PS and recommendations before the interview which is nice. Unclear if there are still people waiting for their JS1--I think I'm a little late to the party--but feel free to PM me if you have any questions about some of the stuff that might get asked! Ugh as if I weren't dying to get accepted already, this makes me even more nervous/anxious/excited
