Hrm, I've been sitting at "Complete" since 3/6, and already people are getting in from the waitlist?

UR1 people unite!

Like at this point I've pretty much accepted my inevitable waitlist/ding but it would still be nice to see some sort of change like I wonder what's going on...are they trying to decide if it's worth doing another round of interviews? Do they want to do a giant huge batch of dings to finish off and so are making sure everyone has been reviewed once? Are they determining waitlist vs ding for all of us that haven't interviewed?

tbh im guessing they're just really busy with asw (this weekend), so my guess [SPECULATION AHEAD] is if they're going to do more interviews, etc. then it will probably be next week

Does the status checker change to "Under Review" at a certain point? Because mine still says "Complete"...

Mine was complete for probably more than six weeks before I went under review. Been UR1 for a few weeks now

You have to give them a preliminary commitment decision by April 15, but one of the choices is "I am still not sure, but would like my seat reserved until the June 1 deadline."

Anyone who's completed or is going to turn in the financial aid review form, when they ask "deadline for response" are they referring to the scholarship or the date we have to accep or decline attending the school?

Shameless annoying I-haven't-read-the-thread question: What's the latest that we could hear back? I've been UR1 since 2/28, not sure what that means about my chances. Commitment deadlines at other schools are coming due hella soon--there won't even be time for an interview, etc. if they wait much longer.

What I can't determine is if all those waitlists had interviews or not. Also, based on past years decision waves and the like, there's a small chance they may have one last admit wave up theirs sleeves. Either way, it could be a they are taking their time to select a who they are interested in interviewing for potential admit/waitlist and must be more selective due to time limits

It looks like similar happened the last couple years per LSN...pretty much no one on there that applied after mid-Jan was accepted. To be fair, they may have interviewed/admitted people not on LSN or there may be people that didn't update their posts, but yeah it looks pretty standard that those of us that applied post mid-Jan (mine was mid to late Jan so way to go past me for not being ready a week earlier) should pretty much expect a waitlist/ding.

But I thought it was pretty great - definitely more focus on the strength of the academics and faculty than on anything else, at least the two days I was there. Was encouraged by the depth of the public interest experience available via their clinics and also by the fact that their big name faculty seem to actually be around. Their mock class was my favorite I've been to so far (mine was with David Strauss). Also got to observe a Martha Nussbaum class.
