Congrats! I applied and went UR1 around the same time as you, but haven't heard back. Would you mind PMing me your numbers?

UR since 11/23... Like I said, just hurry up and reject me already.
+1 I've been UR since 11/20 and just want to know one way or the other.

10/5 here. I think they believe I am committed to this date, but I'm really not.

To answer the earlier questions - nothing on my status checker indicates that the letter was sent, and I did not apply for aid yet. So, I was pretty surprised to suddenly get the letter in the mail

Just got the call!! Applied 1/12; UR 1/14. I kept an eye on the status checker pretty faithfully and never saw any UR date changes so I wasn't expecting it at all.

I thought it was because they hadn't got around to applications around my time frame, but seeing people admitted with applications sent a few days later is discouraging. Shouldn't I at least go UR 1?
I'm in almost exactly the same boat (applied 1/4, complete 1/6), but figured it's just because I'm a big reverse-splitter -- or, when I'm feeling delusional, because they must be taking extra time to approve me for a very generous scholarship

A bunch of people who applied after me got accepted before I did by several weeks. I wouldn't make much of it, especially if you have competitive stats.

I never saw my dates change after initial review on 1/14. I don't know if that's normal but they might just not be updating date changes as faithfully at this point in the cycle. Just a thought.

Searched the thread but didn't see it. Anyone get connected with a professor in their field of interest?

I just got an e-mail from a professor that slightly matches my interest this morning.

I applied 12/31 and have been under review since 1/11. I'm hoping for IILJ. If I haven't heard anything yet (acceptance wise) is it too late?

Ah, I've been waiting to see if this was the case for anyone else! I think it's fantastic.

Is there any logic to mailings, phone calls, emails? (for NYU or in general)

It's not really seeming like it.

Seems like review time is random too. Some people submitted in January and were admitted within weeks, while others have been under review since mid-fall...

Yeah, I've been under review since like 11/20 with no movement. I'm sitting at median LSAT and GPA < 25%, so I'm expecting a wait list at best...but I'd love to at least hear something.

Vanderbilt! Got an email this morning with additional info about the scholarship. A PDF of the offer letter was attached, but it was backdated to 1/27, and the email assumed I'd already received it. Snail mail mucking it up..

I got the letter in the mail last night and the email today! Pretty exciting, though it's making for a tough decision.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
