Think they monitor how many times you check the status checker? I hope so, cause with the hundred checks a day these past couple of days, I think its pretty safe to say that I'm dedicated to you NYU, and if you're at all on the fence with me this should be the tiebreaker on whether to admit me.

I feel like I need to get ahold of myself and only check when I get up in the morning and then after the business day is over. My refresh is going to crumble into a million pieces, and it's only ever going to say UR1 2/11

DLSnever earlyish December (UR1). Note, I have low expectations and basically just want to get it over with.

Even though the SC never updates, I can't help but check the ASW just in case. I feel like the kid who keeps asking his mom "Are we there yet?" when obviously, Timmy, we aren't and we would have TOLD you if we were just to get you to shut up. So stop asking.

So, is the general consensus that an update after 3+ months of radio silence is a good sign? I'd describe my lsat/gpa combo as marginal. Thanks!

Me too. I already sent my deposit in somewhere else because I assumed I was waitlisted or rejected and they just hadn't sent the e-mail for some reason, but according to the status checker I'm still under review.

Edit: My numbers are below the medians - well my LSAT is, but we all know how much that matters - so I don't know why I haven't already been rejected.

I feel like that's a good thing in that they are looking at your application again, but I don't think anyone really knows for sure what the updates indicate.

Ugh. I need to tell another school by the 20th whether I'm accepting their offer or not..... Is there any indication we're going to get decisions by then? Been UR 1 for ~4 months over here.

Based of LSN last year this coming week was all rejections, and then the week of the 14th was all wait lists and one random rejection on 4/22z

Went UR2 on 4/5, Easter. I wasn't expecting that!

That's so weird.

This plus some weirdness in last years DLS date reporting makes me think NYUs computer system isn't so great with calendars. Last year on 4/19 people got DLS 4/20, or DLS 4/16. That's just one of what seemed to be a bunch of date stamp problems.

Looks that way. I combed through last years thread and there were 2 random admits. One on like the 10th and then one Canadian student in late April. Could be different this year, maybe we'll have one more week if acceptances. I've never moved from UR1 so I'd hope to get a chance at being admitted on a UR 2, but at this point I'm assuming ding/WL.
