This is starting to get over the top here in terms of misery.Ambi-Turner wrote:At that point I'll be at a welcome back party for my boyfriend's ex...if I get WL/dinged on top of that while I'm there, it would just be the cherry on top, haha.jk148706 wrote:I'd think if they were sending acceptances today, there would be some calls already. But they did ding and WL at like 9 last night, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some more of those.

Yeah, I think ohpo's analysis of last year's data was right...we probably won't hear back until next week at the earliest. Remember that last year they got back to some ED2s in February.Dee32 wrote:Aside from going to UCR2 yesterday, no. WL/dings, but no acceptances, which are calls. I doubt they're going to be calling anyone after 5pm on a Friday.NoDayButToday wrote:But didn't people hear late yesterday evening...?jstep wrote:14 minutes until the dust clears.

I just logged on to my status checker and saw "Under Committee Review". I felt like a WWII D-Day soldier who had made it off of the beach. I'm not safe, but I've avoided the bloodbath for now.jstep wrote:14 minutes until the dust clears.

I'm not sexist, but my response to that would vary distinctly based on your gender. lolt-14orbust wrote:I'd call you after 5PM on a fridaylawschool22 wrote:WL/dings, but no acceptances, which are calls. Maybe like 3.54/175 vs 3.38/172? Just guessing, but that sounds like it might make sense. I always hear splitter and think <25/>75, but I know some people use the medians and say, "yeah, big splitter 3.78/176." As a sub-3.0 guy, I just shake my head. But it's all relative I suppose!lawschool22 wrote:What's a YP splitter?patfeeney wrote:Splitter or YP splitter?rigoding wrote:complete 12/5, just turned UCR 1/17. Splitter. Scared.

YP is lame. My 8 months of LSAT prep were entirely with Penn in mind, and if I get rejected from Harvard due to low numbers and Penn due to high numbers I will just cry.

all of you 17x applicants getting bad news is truly disheartening. I saw some positive action from ED1 applicants, but this last few days has made me seriously reconsider my future

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
