If they bring it up in the interview, it's not because they don't want to admit you. It's because if they admit you, they want you to defer and get experience.
I graduated a year early from college (so I'm at least a year younger than most) and I was KJD. I had a lot of work experience, so JS even conceded it wasn't an issue, but she still asked me if I'd consider taking time off. I asked her why and she said work experience (not an issue for me) and because law school is so much different from UG that it's good to have a break to I guess forget your UG habits...?
Anyways, I'd say... if your stats are good and your interview concentrated on taking time off, it's probably because that was the only thing "wrong" with your application.

I am KJD. I went to primary school a year earlier than usual and graduated from college in three years. So I am at least two years younger than most. I did have some work experience, and got an offer from a top 10 law firm worldwide.
My interviewer did not ask me anything about why KJD, why no full time work experience, why reject the law firm, etc, though I have prepared for these questions intensively. So do prepare, but you might not get asked at all!

Given how much everyone hates cake pops, I feel like I need to retry them. You know, for science.

Is it not a bad thing to say that you'd consider taking time off? Accept-->defer is actually something I would consider, but I always figured it would be a bad thing to express that... Wouldn't it make them less likely to accept you right away?

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
I have my JS1 later this week. Starting to get slightly anxious/excited. Based on my numbers, the interview probably makes or breaks my chances. Any advise, either ITT or via PM would be really helpful. I would especially love to hear from anyone with splitter-like numbers (below 25th GPA, median LSAT) and/or good work experience to get a feel for the questions they will ask. My guess is the interview will focus on my current experience, but wanted to get a feel for the recent questions being asked.
Also, has there ever been anyone who has had questions regarding C&F issues? I would think that if C&F was a problem, they would have either not given me a JS1, or inquired about it prior to making that decision, but I could be wrong. Any info on that would be great as well.

Maybe JS, despite her disdain for TLS, has read my neurotic posts and decided to purposely hold off on JS2s for another week. *commence panic* ( IM KIDDING BTW)t-14orbust wrote:applelover wrote: I need that soon to equate to today.

I have a JS1 scheduled and until that's over, I have nothing to panic for w/r/t Harvard waiting.
