It's got to be hell for a YP school to try and maintain their numbers during this cycle. I'm not surprised things are taking so long.
Hopefully that means they will throw some of that $9 billion endowment our way...

It would be so depressing to wait this whole time only to get dinged. Complete 10/28.

Complete since 1/7, >50% gpa, >75% lsat.
I feel a (completely unjustified and pointless) first post-worthy sense of outrage about other people with similar stats who submitted later hearing back already. I hope there's a Darrow good reason for this wait.
In fact, I think we all deserve Darrows for patience. Is that how it works?

Not specifically, but I wrote one of the optionals that addresses why Mich. Does it make a big difference in review time or for schollies?barrelofmonkeys wrote:No. Did you write a Why Mich?Chalupa-Batman wrote:Complete since 1/7, >50% gpa, >75% lsat.

Definitely a plus for admission at YP schools. I don't think it would make any difference in terms of schollies.
TLS logic might conclude that the less interested you seem, the more they will offer... but that could be a Serbian Jew double-bluff.

Many thanks for explaining. Do you think doing an optional in general is enough to show interest?Lightworks wrote:Definitely a plus for admission at YP schools. I don't think it would make any difference in terms of schollies.

It would seem that way, particularly if you address why michigan in the essay, but none of us actually have any idea.Chalupa-Batman wrote:Many thanks for explaining.
