Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
Well, I hope that's the case because I've been waitlisted to more schools than I've been accepted or rejected. Really terrible cycle so far. I went there for undergrad as well. Sad days.

Waitlisted as well. So, what are our chances of making it off the WL?

If they have a response like last year, then definitely possible (i'm hopeful given people's knowledge of the law market now).md22 wrote:Waitlisted as well. So, what are our chances of making it off the WL?
If their medians are maintained by April 15th (with deposits), no chance unless they have not reach their target class size. then i believe they'll take whoever they like (as long as the medians don't go down).
If their medians aren't maintained by April 15th, they're going to accept those above medians from waitlist. Then see how that pans out.
Realistically this is what should happen. But law school waitlists are unpredictable.

Shouldn't we be receiving a waitlist e-mail with instructions or something?

All these waitlists lead me to believe I'll be joining the WL soon or outright rejected...
If I do get WL I will ride that son of a bitch until I die.

Yep, this is one WL I'll be riding out. I imagine all of us who were WL'ed this morning will receive the email sometime this afternoon...anteater1 wrote:All these waitlists lead me to believe I'll be joining the WL soon or outright rejected...

Yeah, they'll send you something on how to use the waitlist portal, if/when to submit locis, and an faq...or at least that's what i got last year. i withdrew from the wl in early july because it was stressing me out too much, so i decided to retake the lsat and reapply. when i started my lsat class though (started in july for oct lsat), there were some people who were still waiting out the wl and ended up getting accepted in the end of july/early august. i think a couple got $ too! but i think they said they only had like 2 or 3 days to decide whether to commit, otherwise they'd end up losing their spots.cowabunga85 wrote:Shouldn't we be receiving a waitlist e-mail with instructions or something?

Got the email. signed myself up officially right away. I know it doesn't mean anything, but the deadline to answer is on my birthday. Hopefully that's a sign haha.
