I applied through quantum time - my application was submitted every moment of every day, and I was up for all possible outcomes, but every time the admissions committee sat down to examine my file, it disappeared. And so while in all other universes I had an infinite number of outcomes, in this one, I could only be dinged.

Would probably go to NYU, but it would suck to be so close and yet so far.

I wouldn't even have ridden it out, I never thought I was going to get into Harvard. I would have been thrilled with the wait list and cheerily skipped off to Columbia.

And I never thought I had a chance at Yale either until they had to go and not reject me for nearly five months.

Or, perhaps more importantly, when did you guys go complete?

I think you're on to something here... I imagine the date of completion is probably when they batched a group of applications up and gave them to a particular set of professors, so if no one else from your complete date has heard back yet, the professors from your batch may not have finished their review.

Anyone else have thoughts?

I didn't hear yet, but didn't go complete until 3/19, though I submitted at the end of February.
