Yes! Congrats

you're getting money
I have a hunch that it's the highest deans' amount, since (According to some graphing [ill find the link and insert it in a bit] people with my #s have frequently gotten Darrow invites or the highest dean's amount.
Does anyone know what the highest deans' amount averages around?! And did anyone get a real letter yet or does it seem that the date online really is a glitch

Under the mail&money section on the admitted students website it says they mailed out a Dean's Scholarship Award Notice on 12/18.... just wondering if anyone knows what sort of numbers to expect.

Haha you do realize that she will have no impact on you after admission right?
lol unless you do campus tours or something.
Lol yes I'm aware. Still, any school that would have an Director of Admissions that cute cannot be half bad. And come on, they're top tier so it's not like there's any loss in prestige.

Just got accepted via snail mail! I applied in late November so I was really surprised to hear back so soon. Good luck to everyone.

I have no idea what my status checker has said these last few days. I was blown away with my acceptance at Northwestern so I stopped checking. I have WE, strong softs, 166/3.82, top undergrad school. Mich and Northwestern were my top choices so it's going to be a tough decision. Best of luck!

I realize that in state tuition isn't that big of a deal at michigan and I searched through TLS but I couldn't find it anywhere. Does anyone know how tough it is to get resident tuition at UMich?

I asked an adcom about this at an info session earlier this year, she said you can't get in state tuition your 2nd and 3rd years. I haven't looked into it any further, but my guess is Michigan is one of those states you can't get residency for for educational purposes.

I remember checking into this. You have to establish residency before starting school.

I submitted my app about 5 weeks ago and haven't heard anything. Has this happened to anyone else? I think I remember them saying I should get a status checker within 3-4 weeks.

I check it daily. The split second before the red text appears is usually the highlight of my day.

I understand we are a LexisNexis subscriber. I hear LexisNexis is a tremendous research tool. Does anyone here have hands on experience with this service, or can explain how it works? Thanks.

Not necessarily. I thought so too, but a few dozen pages back or so several people gave examples of getting status checkers on other weekdays. FWIW, I got mine around 3:30 on a Thursday.
